Inspired by nature, place and the mark of time, Catherine's multidisciplinary studio and plein air practice includes contemporary painting, mixed media works, photography, printmaking and temporal installations.

Paying close, patient attention is intrinsic to Catherine’s process in all mediums, as are the embrace of happenstance, exploration of the relationship between site and sentiment, and an abiding quest for visual harmony.

BACKGROUND

Catherine lives and works in San Francisco, California. Time spent in the natural and industrial landscapes of Ohio, West Virginia and northwestern Massachusetts are also foundational influences.

b. 1967, New York
